The difference between aluminum veneer and aluminum-plastic panel
1. Different concepts: Aluminum veneer refers to a building decoration material that is processed by chromization and other treatments and then processed by fluorocarbon spraying technology; aluminum-plastic composite panels are composed of multiple layers of materials, with the upper and lower layers being high-purity aluminum alloy plates, the middle being a non-toxic low-density polyethylene (PE) core plate, and a protective film pasted on the front.
2. Different number of layers: When we study aluminum veneer and aluminum-plastic panel, we can look at its number of layers. If it is two-layer, it is aluminum veneer, the first layer is made of aluminum skin, and the second layer is generally plastic. However, aluminum-plastic panel has one more layer, because its first and third layers are made of aluminum skin, but the middle is made of plastic, so it is obviously one more layer.
3. Different processing procedures: Aluminum veneers are processed and formed in the factory. They can be processed according to the size and shape of ceilings, columns, and wall segments. They can be bent, welded, installed with corners, chemically cleaned, baked and cured. After the products are made, they are transported to the site for direct positioning and installation. The plasticity of aluminum-plastic panels is very strong. If grooving is required, aluminum-plastic panels can be selected. Aluminum-plastic panels are cut, bent, and reinforced with ribs on site, but the loss is large.
4. Different quality: The quality is also different. It is precisely because the aluminum-plastic panel has an extra layer of aluminum skin than the aluminum veneer, so its resistance is better and the quality is more outstanding. Compared with the two, the aluminum-plastic panel has a short service life, while the fluorocarbon sprayed aluminum veneer has a service life of more than 20 years.
5. Different prices: The prices are also different. If the price of the material itself is simply compared, the aluminum veneer of the same specification and thickness is much more expensive than the aluminum-plastic panel.
6. Fireproof performance: Aluminum veneer has a certain thickness and does not burn itself, which can meet the fire protection requirements of high-rise buildings; the surface aluminum plate of the early aluminum-plastic plate is thin and flammable when exposed to fire, and the PE interlayer will release toxic gases when burning. Now with the development of aluminum-plastic plate technology, the fireproof aluminum-plastic composite plate currently produced has greatly improved its fireproof performance due to the addition of non-toxic flame-retardant materials to its PE, which can fully meet the needs of engineering fire protection.
7. Design structure: Aluminum veneer can be welded, so it can be suitable for a variety of building forms, easy to reflect design creativity, not limited by multi-dimensional modeling, and the bottom bracket uses metal to increase strength; aluminum-plastic plate can only guarantee two-dimensional deformation processing, and arc-shaped folding cannot be completed.
